Reports that a Russian Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched ballistic missile strike was downed over Kyiv during the night of May 4 are false, the spokesperson for the Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, said on May 5.
“There was a possibility of the use of ballistic missiles, but none were detected,” Ihnat said in a comment to Ukrainian boradcaster Suspilne on May 5.
He also noted that some military officials have already received reprimands for spreading false information.

(People watching the parade noted two other T-34's parked nearby that stayed parked the entire time. My guess is they got eaten for parts for the one in the parade, and the shells were parked on the street just for the parade.)

It's the head canon of everyone tripping over themselves to justify this war. Something like 2% of Ukraine is ultra-right wing, but that's apparently enough to justify invading the country in order to "save" the rest.
I clicked on that Mark Hamill flag thing thinking someone might actually try to explain what it is, but it was all just a bunch of pro Russian simping telling him to educate himself about why this "special military action was necessary". Russia's propaganda bot army might be the most dangerous weapon in its arsenal, as it actually seems to work.

It's the standard line of attack for the anti-Ukraine crowd -- Putin's original justification for the invasion was to describe it as an act of "de-Nazification" -- playing up the fact that a small number of Ukrainians are on the far right.
Of course, every country has fringe groups. Some might argue that one of them consists of paranoid, conspiracy mongering, knee-jerk anti-Establishmentarians who are easily co-opted by totalitarian propagandists.
