Well, it is actually a intro song from the album 'Futureperfect' from VNV Nation, I just thought it was pretty catchy. But to answer your question, sure. I think the idea behind it (the song) was to focus on how many of us are so ego/self driven in our day to day lives, and our personality (both self influenced, and influenced by the modern media).
LOL - well, I love music, but rarely recognize lyrics, or even names of songs :P But I do understand the premise, and agree somewhat
