I finally went over to Mom's two weeks ago and decided to look for the missing boxes myself.

Right where I remember them being were three boxes. One larger file box and two smaller boxes.

I brought them home and cracked them open.

Here's what I found:
Over a dozen magazines from 90, 91, and 92, as well as the Walthers catalogs for N&Z Scale from 1985!! and 1990.

Some of my earliest memories include sitting on my dad's lap while he controled the HO-scale model railroad layout in the living room. At Christmas time, the family forwent a larger tree in favor of a smaller one that would sit in a specially-prepared circle on the layout.

Related aside: I received a gift one year of the Transformers G1 toy "Astrotrain" and was shocked mightily to find its train mode fit perfectly on HO-scale track! It was far too heavy to be moved by any ...
