I second that. Best one I've used, hands-down.Originally Posted by Jenoe

I used BitTornado for a long time, but I just recently switched to uTorrent as well. It's great.
Only adding another voice for Utorrent, had some problem when I upgraded to the latest version but resolved it with the forums there.

Add another vote for Utorrent. I used to use Azureus until it started sucking up a significant amount of resources for some reason. Switched to Utorrent and everything has been great since.
I haven't used it lately but I was using Azureus. I guess I'll check out utorrent, but the last time I tried it, it seemed spyware-ish to me. I forget why I thought that.

I use Azureus. I haven't had any problem with it.
They had a patch earlier in the week, but it works the same except for some different icons.

It spreads the torrent client list to clients outside the torrent swarm. When you're running a private tracker (stat-tracking, making sure people who are part of your community actually give back some) it absolutely f's it up because none of that traffic counts. Plus, maybe you really don't want those people to have that file anyway (private releases)Originally Posted by Newpa Hasai
Also those clients spam the shit out of other clients in an effort to cheat the system, which is the REAL reason they're banned most places (since most trackers aren't private). They purposefully violate the specifications in order to cheat
Also, their seeding/uploading system sucks. Other clients are much better about maximizing the number of complete copies out there, and those 2 are awful at it...couple that with their cheating attempts that work on some clients and it just slows everyone down
uTorrent is the fucking win. Jesus I love this program.

If you use uTorrent on a private tracker, you'll usually see "DHT Status: Not Allowed." Those are the trackers that are cracking down on BitComet/Lord, because when they're told "not allowed" they say "fuck you, I'm doin' it anyway punkass!"
