Is anyone looking forward to any of this month's games?
I'm interested in Star Wars Xcom, but I doubt I'll have time for it.

Cheekily starting the thread now just so the posted date will be correct, but I'm just going to write quick notes. I'll probably maybe clean it up later.
Just at a quick glance, the games coming out this month that I recognize are:
Beast of Reincarnation - A new action adventure game made from the same company that makes Pokemon.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls - A Marvel fighting game from Arc System works (Guilty Gear, Blazblue).
Mortal Shell II - A Dark Souls style game.
The Sinking City 2 - Lovecraftian survival horror game.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy - Apparently a prequel to the Plague Tale game about the siblings trying to escape war and rats.
Star Wars Zero Company - A Star Wars Xcom style strategy game.
That's all I recognize just looking at a release list. Will look closer later probably maybe.

I didn't pay much attention this month. Most of these games seem to either be average or mediocre with nothing standing out as a huge success. Mortal Shell 2 seems to be the most well received of the bunch, with the others having various criticisms and complaints. Zero Company is unfinished and choppy/buggy, Beast of Reincarnation is disappointing and mediocre, Marvel Tokon is well reviewed but had a bad launch, etc etc.

I looked at Skillups review of Zero Company and that was a pretty glowing review, so that it is unfinished and buggy seems completely different than his experiences.

I couldn't tell you why any specific reviewer didn't notice or mention the problems, but I've seen plenty of complaints about technical issues post launch. Calling it unfinished may have been unfair though, as that impression was created by a story I saw the other day stating that a large chunk of their staff had been furloughed because they ran out of money during development.
