For anything... though I think the premise like a decade ago was the Berkley ethicist's argument that until kids are capable of self care and self determination, the parents should be able to put them down if they want.
Too bad the good points of many threads here on Graffes get buried in shit.

Student or professor? We get some stupid shit from the humanities out of the students, rarely do professors with tenure put out the same level of bullshit.

And I still stand by the counterargument - if we say people on American soil aren't subject to our jurisdiction, we are giving away all right to apply our laws to them. Suddenly we can't prosecute them for speeding.

The jurisdiction could imply that people with diplomatic immunity who have children on american soil don't automatically have their kids become citizens. Illegal immigrants don't have said immunity.

Brahma hasn't posted since 2009, so there hasn't been any progress on the infanticide front.

    Done.

Five justices adhere to the traditional understanding of the 14th Amendment; one agrees to knock down the executive order that launched the case but disagrees on the broader constitutional issues; and three think anchor baby = citizenship is bullshit.

A bit surprising given the current make up. Gotta give credit to the founders for not being too vague on this one?

Hmmm 1868 so I guess not.
