Boy the past few years the reaper is emptying the record store.
    Today we sail
    On the Solar Rail
For there's much we just don't know
    So farewell with a kiss
Then it's fast for the mist
Till we're sleeping in the cold below

Grim Reaper is preparing to go on tour... gathering as many musicians as he can?

Nah, Filan, there's always more musicians. Good ones even. But I do feel ya, losing the ones that shaped your youth hurts.

Moonraker should have been the cheesiest of cinema and yet somehow, with him in the role, it was a good movie.

Also, compared to Sean Connery in Goldfinger making out with a lady and seeing someone's reflection in her eyes sneaking through the window to kill him, then tossing the guy in a full bathtub, throwing in a plugged-in appliance to electrocute him, and saying "shocking", I prefer Moore.

The Chris Cornell tox report is in:

Messed up by prescription drugs. Interesting that the paramedics who attended immediately attempted naloxone, suspecting opiate overdose.

I strongly suspect it was not an abuse either. One upside to all these should be illegal medication ads is hearing the side effects and these days it would be better to ask which meds to not cause thoughts of suicide or poor judgement.

Re: The Graffe's Celebrity Death Pool

Sources tell TMZ that Vicky and others close to the family are a little pissed that the medical examiner “jumped to conclusions” by labeling Chris’ death a suicide. They believe he was so high on prescription pills, he had no idea he was putting anything around his neck, and that it should be considered an accident
Having never been on anything more than whatever they gave me as a 7 year old when I had hernia surgery in the 80's, is it possible to NOT know what you're doing while hanging yourself?

I mean, I've been pretty suicidal over the years, but I've always stopped before getting to the execution point of actually DOING something to end my life.

How could you not be aware of the fact that you're killing yourself if you're on something alone and didn't already intend to?

Benzodiazepines and all hypnotics really fuck you up. I've done non benzos medicinally as well as recreationally, and mixing them with anything, you'll swear you are in a dream.

I've gotten pretty deep into several layers of inception just on non benzos.

    That bad?

    I'm glad you're still here.

I'd miss you if you were gone, and I hope noone else goes away as a result of some sort of cocktail.

    That's just plain messed up.

At the rate of implosion on what's left of her D-list "career", I'm almost willing to put a side bet on Kathy Griffin to make the list.

That one broke me when I heard about it.

I was full-on weeping for long enough that I actually got dehydrated.

A little bit of light went out of the world with his passing.

Adam West is Batman, at least to me. I know his Batman series was pure camp, but damn it was fun. As much as I like the Batman movies, the series will always be the best of Batman.

To this day, I remember getting home from school and watching that. I even remember some of the more memorable lines. It was awesome!

They ran as reruns when i was just going to school. My first day riding the bus home I failed to get off the bus. In my defense... on TV the bus stopped then the kids got up and got off. In reality you have your ass up there or they drive by your house.

I remember watching my house go by. I kept thinking she will stop any minute. Nope. About 30 minutes later the bus drivers daughter says "Shouldn't we have let this Stone kid off earlier" So they call the bus garage, they call the school. Panicked Mom calms, I ride home with the bus driver who lived 5 houses down from me.

The entire time I am pissed because I missed part two of the episode and I had no idea how batman and robin got out of the Jokers trap.
