So many memorable roles, and he even had a current TV series. He will be missed.
TMZ is saying he had heart surgery, had complications post-op and died from a stroke.
Game over man, Game Over!
This sucks, Bill Paxton had some of the best lines in movies like Aliens and Weird Science. Too young, but the "complications for surgery" thing tell me there will be a lawsuit involved in this one.

This was kinda cool - a bunch of storm spotters got together and spelled out "BP" across Kansas/Oklahoma using their GPS trackers, to honor Bill Paxton's role in Twister

I am emotionally worsened by the passing of Bill Paxton.
Too great a face. He was my hipster-fave, much like the hipster appreciation for Tim Robbins.

That was literally one of the first things I thought of when I heard this news.
Quite possibly the funniest scene in the movie and I don't think a lot of people got it.

Noone should sue or be sued ambiguously.
I am sure there are a ton of people who first experienced Chuck Berry through that movie.

First Chuck Berry song I ever heard was "My Ding-a-Ling". A friend of mine growing up had the record. We laughed our asses off listening to it (we were young and easily amused)
Surprisingly, that was supposedly his only #1 song.
I have a karaoke disc with it as a track. Never knew it was him until i got thst disc.

Another Chuck, Chuck Barris, of mostly The Gong Show fame, but creator of many other game shows:

He also had this crazy story that he was a CIA assassin, which the movie Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was based on. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but then I'm a big Sam Rockwell fan.
'This world may be another planet's hell.'{Aldous Huxley}
'After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.'{Aldous Huxley}
For some reason I thought Chuck Barris died years ago...
Chuck Berry, Chuck Barris... who is next?
