    Writing: William Wallace...won? update 27/04

    Updated 27/04/2017

been working on another story in my head for months, very hard to write nowadays, finally got round ot being able to type some of it up
meaning to be part of a "related arc" of stories and characters including the "Silverdale's Gone" one

    notes:
characters would be speaking in Scots, but why write that as even I now can barely speak it? so keeping to English.
    alt-history
names and language changed a lot over the years.
when working on this remember I'll often re-do earlier bits if I note problems/need changes, hey it's a WIP

    When the Old Guard dies,
The cowards in the shadow rise,
Their vile plots of cowardice and greed,
Poison the land and nightmares arise,
To terrorize and murder the common man.

(and as usual, please forgive typos and crankiness if possible)

Just got back from merry old London (and Paris). One of our flight attendants was a real beauty and had the most wonderful accent from Glasgow. Her voice was like listening to music when she spoke.

we're not all uncouth bampots speaking like drunken ferrets on speed, thank God

there's one of the Western islands, normally I don't actually like Gaelic as it sounds too harsh in most folks' speech, but wish I could remember which isle it was, sigh, their speech was gorgeous!
    real melodious

    Re: Writing: William Wallace...won?

    working on this again, slowly

the main character plans on creating a "legend", it's important as he's a lone person, no family etc, so creating a mystique is important
so, he carries two very special revolvers...

note, when he came through time he brought a LOT of stuff, most of it though is all "useful", from tablet PCs to a back hoe (making roads, sewers etc is VITAL) to seeds and lots of things like steel rulers (ever thought how damn hard building things was when no one had the SAME measurements?)

he has brought back weapons, because there is a war...most of them are "older fashioned" weapons, percussion rifles, shotguns etc, for specific story reasons
he will also give out box sets of paired Remington 1858 (modern stainless built though) revolvers to friends and allies

don't think it's gonna be all easy for the Scots....lot of stuff is going on beyond this and the normal timeline

I can't alas make these look as I'd want them, 3D work is too much for me any more so this is photoshop
the handle opals would be much more translucent and interesting, synthetic opals

    Fire = quick draw
ice = more accurate, has fire optic inserts in sights that help aiming especially at night (2 green dots at rear, 1 red at front)
