    Board Games

I finally bought a shelf for all my board games. Everything in this picture has previously stacked in the closet. It isn't as excessive as some people I know, but there are still a ton of games here. I managed to get them somewhat sorted even. It is so nice be able to actually access them without having to take half of them out of the closet.

My current favorites are Mansions of Madness and Secret Hitler. MoM is a pricey one to start and with the three expansions to complete everything it is about $230-250. It is an app-driven board game of horror investigation. It is set in the same time/place/world as Arkham Horror, Elder Sign, etc. Secret Hitler is a hidden traitor game in the same concept as The Resistance/Avalon/etc.
If I wanted to be ignored I'd go to work.

Just the base. We do play the expansion stuff through the computer from time to time though.

One of the local coffee shops has a board game night about once a month.

Just played Betrayal at the House on the Hill for the first time on Saturday. Fun game.

Owner said he is bringing MoM next time. I'll have to try that as well.

Great! i do not remember the last time i play board games with friends, maybe 20 years ago? Since the rise of internet's era, most teenager during that shift to play computer games and play more on the net. But sometimes, i still play with my niece or nephew.
