I don't think "punishing" the UK is a good idea, I want the UK to stay in the EU. The north-western liberal democracies need to stand together, as nationalism and authoritarianism is on the rise in the south and east, and even more so outside the EU.

I love consequences! Though they can come in many forms. Maybe the consequence will be they have to give up their anti-immigration stuff? Isn't that why they voted out in the first place? I forget.

Also think how embarrassing it will be to set aside your pride and come crawling back. Maybe instead of constant "France is prone to surrendering" gags, the edgy nerd teenagers of the world will instead joke about how the UK is wishy washy and can't make up its mind. It will be great, great I tell you!

New slang: Uck. Because calling someone a You Kay is dumb.

I don't know if I want to wear the blue shirt or the red shirt. /whines
Just wear the blue shirt and let's go, Uck.

Man, I don't know what happened. I tried to do two unspecified things at the same time, and failed to do either.
Yeah you really ucked that up.

Scotland was asked what their position was on Brexit, but nobody understood a word they said in response.

And Bercow ruled out a third "incredibly meaningful" vote on May's Brexit proposal. So that's it for the time being. Ten days to go before the deadline, and the ball is in the EU's court now.

Hah, like the EU actually gives a shit.
They know they have the UK over the barrel on this one. It'll hurt EU economy some, but nowhere near the damage to the UK economy, which will showcase exactly how short-sighted and foolish the right-wing/anti-euro parties springing up all over Europe actually are.

It's literally a win-win in this case. The UK takes the brunt of the damage, and the EU get's a great example of how stupid the anti-EU parties are.
