    Earlier DDOS

About 2 hours ago from time of posting, graffe.com was being hit by a lot of connections simultaneously. Not sure if it was directed at us, or was directed at the network we're on (Linode. Which I think is much more likely). It appears to have resolved, but as they were hitting the system pretty hard, and I saw a lot of evidence of vulnerability scanning, I went ahead and updated vBulletin with the latest security updates.

No evidence that any exploits were found and used.

Looks like the updates messed something up, I get this error when I try to use the Advanced Search feature in a forum:
    Code:
Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that of vB_Model::getLoadQuery() in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupmessage.php on line 0

Try it again, it looks like vBulletin sucks at coding. I made some manual edits to their query.

    Re: Earlier DDOS

Since I can't post new threads or get to private messages I am bumping this thread. When I try to do the above I get:

    The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Issue appears to have resolved itself.
