This may have been posted before but I am bored so what the hell. Maybe it will help some people.
In West Wastes there are 3 roaming dragons. 8-9 hour spawn timers.
Any of the following will spawn in those 3 spots. And by killing the 3 on following list that are up at any given time and can make Myga spawn. Just take 1 group out there and clear the 3 and come back in 8-9 hours. 3 new ones will be up and possibly Myga as one of them. You WILL get Myga eventually. It's about 1 in 5 clears on average to get her.
Amcilla
Aptaev
Bufa
Crial
Gangel
Honvar
Linbrak
Makala
Nintal
Myga
Nyga
Onava
Quoza
Sivar
Uiliak
Yal
Total (16)
Nyga may not even exsist but I've seen her listed before even though I have never seen it myself so it's there in case. If it does exsist it would be on the same spawns as these.
There is debate that only one of the roamer paths is in fact Myga Placeholder but it takes 5-30 minutes to clear all 3 as is if you sit in TOV Canyon . All 3 will roam by eventually. If I had to guess that 1 roamer cycle is Myga PH I would go with Amcilla/Bufa/Gangel/Makala cycle. ( simply because I have seen Myga roam thru the ocean and warp back and I have seen these do it also) On the other hand she can spawn in any of the 3 spots and it is just random. But as I said it's easy enough to clear all 3 so point is moot. Hope this helps somewhat.
Thanks to Glaciusw and everyone who cleared placeholders for 10 days straight to figure this out.
amcilla, onava, gangel, myga, and quoza are on the same cycle. You can kill all 3 if you want. But I guarantee its this particuliar one you kill and myga will spawn or another one will spawn 8 hours later.
Btw, pretty absurd for verant to expect someone to have to come back 8 hours later to kill something.
The absurd part is clearing it and not being able to get a group to go back 8 hrs later so another guild passing thru snags the Myga you worked for. Always that risk with this stupid spawn.
And ive asked for 'anyone' and I mean anyone to provide me with some kind of proof. Hell come on my server and find me, ill go look myself. There is no way you saw those up at the same time. Or, atleast before they added DB as a quest.
A lot of the names are similiar, but you sir are wrong, and you do nothing to prove your claim. Youve said you have seen it once. Well, if they aren't different, then i guarantee someone else will have seen them all up at the same time too. Now get me some SS's and prove me wrong, and ill eat my shorts. Otherwise, stfu.
If you have an Ench or Shaman to slow they are very easy... I'd guess 55+ grp would be fine. Just make sure you have a cleric/war/Sham or ench/rest doesnt matter. Also CR/FR helps but not that much.. Even when these dragons AE land it does weak damage. Instant right clicks help a lot though. All AE randomly dispell 1 of top 3 buffs.. sometimes deeper down but not usually.
Aleal is right. And instead of arguing endlessly on this thread, why not take the time to test it yourself. Or you can keep on killing every wanderer in WW and instead spend that extra time killing extra giants to fix your CoV faction that took way more hits than necessary, your choice /grin
I have been clearing Myga for the last 2 months at almost 5 to 6 times a week. He has poped once and he pop 3 hours after the PHs are killed. I am sure although he is on the spawn table of the various dragons but his spawn time is not 8 hours
Decad, you say you have been clearing the PHs for 2 months, 5 or 6 times a week and you have seen one Myga? Perhaps you might want to change your tactics. Aleal is correct, there are only 4 phs for Myga and only one will ever be up at a time. Kill the PH (Amcilla, Quoza, Gangel or Onava) and then wait 8 hours for the next cycle of either one of these 4 or Myga.
The fact that Myga popped 3 hours after you killed a bunch of dragons just means that someone else killed the real ph 5 hours before you started killing.
I posted this last october, almost a year ago, it's very well possible that the respawn time is only 3 hours now, but I gaurantee it was 8 1/2-9 back then =p
No, I have been camping in WW for months and have seen Myga up a couple times.
The PHs are always the same. Everyone of them roams past TOV doors. And I have defintely seen Myga up more then once in less then 8 hours. Although the ' NEW ' PHs will pop in 8-9 hours again.
