Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
finished all the GTA4 missions. Now I'm goofing around for jumps and doves. ~70% so far...
Oh and I have to do all the "friends" as well (the blue people icons on the map).
I also picked up GTA: Vice City Stories for the PSP the other day, and have GTA: Liberty City Stories for the PS2 sitting here since ~ christmas (untouched so far).
Plus Lego Star Wars for the PS3, I'll start that next week I think.
Oh and GT5: Prologue... can't wait for the release of GT5...
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Spent the last couple of weeks working through Mass Effect now that it's out for the PC. Not a perfect game, but definitely worth the wait. As someone who usually doesn't like voice acting, I thought it was excellent in this game (I played the female Shepard, which I have heard is the better of the two).
Next, I think I might finally play through Final Fantasy XII... I picked it up last year and never got around to it, but I'm in the mood for some J-RPGing (as well as some lying down on the couch instead of sitting at the computer).
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Other than MGS4, I've been playing demos I downloaded onto the PS3, a fairly new feature for me. Civilization Revolutions was in particularly amazing, well worth checking out if you are a Civ fan or even if you were always interested before but a little intimidated by the complex PC nonsense.
I have also been playing Wild Arms 1 off and on for the past few months, it's my small chunk game when I have 15-30 minutes to fill.
Still haven't beaten MGS4 or The World Ends With You.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Finally got Rock Band, so I'm doing that now.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Going through a phase of replaying great games on harder difficulties, so at the moment I'm playing :
RE:4 for the Wii
Bioshock on my 360
Drake's Fortune on my PS3
I'm also slowly working my way through Lost Oddysey on the 360. It's a wierd game for me - I can appreciate it in the intellectual sense, but it does leave me feeling slightly odd about the entire JRPG genre. I'm beginning to wonder if I actually don't like JRPG's that much, I just feel like I should?
Oh, and restarted Twilight Princess on the Wii as I never finished it first time round, and as I'm a complete Zelda newbie I found it absolutely enchanting.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Finally getting around to playing God of War 2. Completely awesome so far. I've got to say though, I didn't die half this many times in the first game.
I also finally played Katamari Damacy. It was weirder than I was expecting, if that is possible. I was impressed with the level scaling, but the controls were poor and the camera was awful. I shelved it as soon as I finished, not bothering for perfection, bonus content, or unlockables.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I do about 5 hours a week of Age of Conan, and 5 or so in WoW. Not currently using the PS3 for anything other then a movie player, and the occassional GTA4 multiplayer match.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
It's all Wii for me right now - too much RL stuff going on to focus on MMO's.
Guitar Hero 3, just beat it on easy (it's my first guitar hero game, shut up :p).
The occasional Boom Blox with my son - and I'll get into Super Smash Bros. when my son gets it on his birthday.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Cancelled Pirates of the Burning Sea, and discontinued/uninstalled EQ and EQ2 and Conan. Cancelled my brother's WoW account, since he doesn't play anymore either. I did update HGL though, but didn't actually play.
Barely touched Wii Fit in almost 2 weeks - too hot in my room and by the time it cools down I'm ready for bed.
Have been bumping my Pokedex in Diamond while breeding in Pearl to fill the Ranch... Mostly doing that when not at home or work or with the gf though so I'm limited to 1hr every other day.
Really am just biding my time for FFIVDS in two weeks.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I’ve decided that Lego Star Wars is the greatest Parent/Child team up game ever made (Although Rock band is close).
I finally bought a DS last week, and am currently playing The New SMB, which is pure fun. After that, I’m going to go Retro on my DS with NES and SNES games.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
On break from Conan - if it improves will try it again. If not there is paint to watch dry and that will be more fun. Waiting on War and SC2. Logged into VG, played house and retired my wiz officially in eq 1. Never did care much for eq2 so did not bother.
Most fun I have had so far was downloading a 10 day trial of WoW. ( friend is using my old account and I did not want to mess with it while he is) I leveled an UD lock to 18 and played in WSG. Most fun by far of anything I have done in awhile.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Warriors Orochi is the 2nd 360 game where I maxed out achievements, but I'm still playing. I might be done soon though as I've been trying to solo chaos mode with ginchiyo but she's lv 99 and I've almost fused the perfect weapon and officers still do way way too much damage. Lu Bu would probably 1-shot me. I guess maybe I should have picked a warrior with higher defense.
also started up valkyrie profile 2 since I saw it new for $10.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I'm slowly replaying older games I enjoyed, and digging through ones I bought but never finished. I'll give Witcher another try in Sept. So for now I'm eagerly waiting for Fable2, Diablo3. I really want to play WoTLK but I'm not willing to deal with the backlash of playing an MMO right now. My next MMO will be WoD by CCP which wont be here for 3-5 more years.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I'm playing Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines, again, lol.
Pal wanted ot paly it and...got me into it again.
Still one of the best games ever made, IMHO :)
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I installed all the Baldur's Gate games + expansions and installed BG Tutu (gives you some additions, fixes and lets you play BG 1 with the BG 2 engine. Best part is probably the 50% extra speed in walking).
Started it up today. To slightly overcome the whole issue with the constant "save/load/save/load" in the beginning when something was lucky enough to crit you and oneshot you, I also did a little bit of initial character editing. Didn't give my character extra abilities or power, just started off with 160 hp. Of course now I have to constantly stay in front as my other part memebers have 8 hp, which is crazy little when even the first mobs you see hit for 4 and can crit for 10+. "Imoen is being attacked" "Ahhh I feel.. " "aahhhhhh"
So plan is to finish BG 1 + expansion, import that character to BG 2 and then finish that.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I picked up Alone in the Dark for the 360. It's mostly fun so far (2 "episodes" in) but the lack of balancing/polishing shows.

I never finished that. I got to the final part of the game (the choice) and realized that my character was far too underpowered to complete the game. By then I didn't have any saves left where I could roam freely and level up some more.
Which of the fan patches would you recommend? The one that only fixes bugs or the one that also fixes and unlocks unfinished content? (I was using the latter last time, in an older version)
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I've renewed interest in some of my alts in WoW, so I'm having fun playing a prot-turned-fury warrior. Wee!~
Still slugging through Kingdom Hearts 2 for a second time - it's great entertainment for the missus and I. I play our Wii, as well, when I need a bit of music jam on GH3. I still don't like the response mechanism, and I'm hoping my wife is getting me a PS2 for my birthday, this month, so I can go back to GH1/2/80's.
On the GBA, I'm playing through FF4-A, usually to put her to sleep at night. Man, those battles take a long time.
Next up: FFX, maybe more Zelda: Twilight Princess (rental)

That's a pretty long game to rent. Hope you have a flat rate for game rentals ;)
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
I've been kicked from the 360 due to the kids being home, so redownloaded VG and have been playing a little DDO. I'm really, really, really enjoying VG.
Of course, our Graffe's guild is aweful lonely.
Re: The "What Are You Playing Now?" Thread
Yaxa,
the one that unlocks content is good, but remember to patch this way:
turn off spybot and AVG
install game, restart pc
install offical 1.2 patch, restart pc
install unnoficla patch, restart PC
i say that because I've had problem where the patch didn'tkick in propery because of spybot and AVG, and it's best to restart PC imho between isntalls.
I had problems by not doing that.
Mosat powerful ones are maybe
tremere, with blood purge: stun them bastards blow their heads off with shotgun!
Malkavian with obfuscate 3. sneka around easy and whack 'em with a sword by stealth. THough flame thrower RULES for boss killing.
Brujah, I forget how I did it with brujah but that's what I used 1st go through years ago.
:)
