Yeah, I doubt anybody had him.
He's had substance abuse problems, but I don't think anyone saw that coming.
Saw this late last night, very unexpected. I admit I watched Glee with my daughter the first 3 years, but then it moved away from cute so I stopped watching.
I doubt it will affect the show much, but I wouldn't be surprised if they incorporated it somehow.Quote:

Not a household name, no. That doesn't make it any less tragic to die so young.
If it's a suicide or self inflicted overdose it certainly lessens and usually negates any tragedy. Letting people live how they want means letting them die how they want, too. If it's a random illness or heart attack or undiagnosed something or other that's a different story.Quote:

I have issues finding sympathy here because this guy dies and its some kind of big deal. Someone gets gunned down in philly and its barely a news item. In both cases a life ended before the person's sell by date, What makes someone from a popular network show worth more?

He had recently gone to rehab again to try and make sure his life stayed on track (he first went when he was 19). People felt that they knew him, and they identified with him and liked him, and drugs still claimed his life even though he tried to fight it.
If that household has teen or younger children in it, odds are they knew who he was. Even my 75 year old mother knows who he is. They may not have known his real name, but they knew him.Quote:
