There's a Little Caesar's about 25 miles from here that's 100% fantastic, high quality, tasty, perfectly-cooked pizza every time. During the dinner hour on Fridays, the pizzas don't have time to sit around. They're out the door the instant they're out of the oven and there are always lines. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who owns that franchise came up with his own instructions for ingredient levels and cook time.
Most of the other ones turn out crap and the pizzas will spend hours sitting in the warmer.

I've played "Boogie Down" in a full horn section too many times to count at birthday parties, company Chrismas dinners and various parties. One of my now-deceased buddies who spent his whole life in Detroit was exactly the same way.
Anyone, anywhere, no matter who, if they needed ANYTHING, he had crash space to offer, food, assistance, ANYTHING, friend, acquaintance, or stranger.
He made big money early on in his career as an engineer for big motors, paid off his house, socked a crapton of money away, and basically spent time providing things for others, silently, never asking for recognition with the rest of what he made.
He lived modestly in a nice, paid-off house, and just enjoyed spending time with other people and helping them in any way if they needed it.

George 'The Animal' Steele. He made it to 79 though which is impressive for a wrestler, although he probably didn't do steroids and other drugs like so many do.
The Tigers collectively all were hoping to win the World Series a couple years back as they acknowledged he'd spent so money on the team and was getting aged. I think it was Leyland's last season back in 2013. That's the kind of team owner you hope for your favorite sports team, one the players want to perform for and not just to collect the paycheck.
Old Man Rooney was like that, a driving force for those first couple Steelers' Super Bowl wins in the 1970's.
That's the kind of person that is truly worthy of admiration. He helped someone for years, and didn't go out and broadcast that fact for the world to shower adoration on him - he did it because he saw someone in need and wanted to help. Truly awesome!Quote:
