Thanks. There's something I don't understand though. I thought that some creatures and bosses only spawned once, and after you killed them, that was it. So, if you go into Deadmines and kill the boss and he doesn't drop your item, are you just screwed (because he will no longer respawn)? Or, does he keep respawning until you get the drop (and then dies)? Or did I just hear wrong that certain creatures only spawn once?Quote:

Whoa whoa whoa. So if you loot a chest, does that mean the horde players can't loot it or get the item that you picked up?
If so, then I am strongly opposed to this if there is no reprecussion for the alliance looter.
In the deadmines there will only be one boss per instance. If you don't have the quest for it, you won't receive the dropped item (his head). However everyone in the group will be able to loot that item. It's pretty strange to have a guy drop 5 heads when clearly you only saw one on his shoulders when you were killing him.
Once you go back and activate the quest, then you can go back to the deadmines and start a new instance. The bosses will respawn with every new instance of the dungeon.
How many heads drop? Five always, five if any one member of the group has the quest active or the number of people in the group who have this particular quest active at the moment of the mobs death/engagement/dungeon instancing?Quote:

That's why you don't see it as loot without the quest. It's not like you're gonna chop off every creature's head you come by just in case you need it for a quest later. right?

Once you loot a chest, it disappears. Just like when you gather a flower, it disappears. I think it'll take about an hour or so for the chest to respawn again and it doesn't respawn in the same spot always.Quote:

The way I see it, horde players can run into horde dungeons and do the same thing to alliance players fighting in there. There really aren't that many chests around for this to be a major problem -- more like an annoyance thing. ("Hey! We were clearing to that and this guy just looted it!") The same thing happens when people clear to a mine or a flower and some joe-blow loots it while they're fighting a mob. It's a social issue.
You can pick flowers? I read there where wearable flowers, but I assumed they would be vender purchased/mob dropped/quested. I don't suppose they actively grow over time, as in seeing the various stages of growth before they can be picked.Quote:

I think that's cool - in the optional campaign in WC3 - the start of Act 2, you get to use the Blademaster with his wind walk ability to infiltrate a human settlement. I love that invisibilty is so powerful... Though, depending on its application, I could see where it might not feel right.Quote:

Even with just one person, you'll spawn your own instanced dungeon. No minimum number in the party needed, but keep in mind that the dungeons aren't made too wimpy, so you might not last too long. ;) Other people can join ya in that existing instanced dungeon if they join your group before jumping into the instanced, as far as I know.Quote:
