Re: The Graffe's Celebrity Death Pool
This guy rarely got plaudits, but he won more than 200 games, took three franchises to the playoffs and made four Super Bowl appearances with teams that probably had no business being in the big game in the first place, so he clearly knew something:

His results prove he was definitely a first rate coach.

Kenyan paleoanthropologist Richard Leakey dies at 77
Quote:
NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — Paleoanthropologist Richard Leakey, known for his fossil-finding and conservation work in his native Kenya, has died at 77, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta announced Sunday evening.
The cause of death was not announced.
Leakey, the son of globally known anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey, also held a number of public service leadership roles including director of the National Museums of Kenya and what became the Kenya Wildlife Service, Kenyatta’s statement said.
“We are deeply saddened to learn about the news of the death of our founder,” the conservation group WildlifeDirect said.
The group’s CEO, Paula Kahumbu, said Leakey had “a natural sense of leadership, old-fashioned but straightforward. His memory was super sharp and his ability to hold many ideas in the air at once to find common threads was phenomenal. He will be dearly missed.”

I remember watching him play for the Cowboys when I was a kid, he was one tough player, and like you said, underrated coach. Hell, I even half cheered for the Giants simply because he was their coach. This video is one of my favorites from his playing days (sorry it's blocked here, but you can watch it on Youtube):

WTF, Bob Saget was 65? Felt like he was perpetually gonna be the age he was Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos.

Re: The Graffe's Celebrity Death Pool
I just watched "The Black Hole" (which she is in) a couple of weeks ago, since I'd only ever seen it once in a school assembly in grade seven and didn't really remember much of it. She was in her late 30's in that film and still stunning.

My favorite of any of his songs was Paradise By The Dashboard Light, it was epic. I actually thought he had died as well, I was thinking he had some serious health issues in the past.
