This poll will last one week, at which point the results will be considered final. The new rule wording, if confirmed, will go into effect one day after that.

Are new accounts excluded from this?
Re: POLL: Should Forum Rule #4 be changed as per Fnagaton's proposal?
I didn't set it up to exclude them, no, as I barely knew how to set up a poll period. At this point, looking at the "members who have read this thread" and comparing with the number of votes cast, it doesn't appear to be an issue (ie. it doesn't look like the three potential spammers have voted). If I see an influx of new accounts that seems to be changing the vote total in either way, I'll ask Nadiar to look at the votes and back out the spammers, ghostnics, and other associated chicanery.

Sixteen as of Thursday morning. Sad face.
But I guess a legit representation of what's left of active posters, sigh.
Makes me feel old.
:(
Although the largest poll on a quick search of semi recent activity only had 37 lol. Le sigh.
Re: POLL: Should Forum Rule #4 be changed as per Fnagaton's proposal?
The activity level has spiked recently because of the Rule #4 debate, but for the past few months we've been averaging around 11 posts per day total, of which 2.3 are Ackar video/link posts. I don't know if you've been following along with the Rule #4 change thread over in Site and Forum Admin, but some of the Rule #4 threads from 2009 were referenced and I found that, typically, under 10% of the posts in those threads were by people still posting on Graffe's. There's been plenty of times recently where I've seen something in the news that's discussion-worthy, but instead of bringing it here I just pull up the relevant thread on Reddit. C'est la vie.
Re: POLL: Should Forum Rule #4 be changed as per Fnagaton's proposal?
Yeah of course. I've done the same.
I'm definitely enjoying the Witcher so far too.

It's going to be interesting to see if Hemsworth can effectively replace Cavill, and how far away from the source material the show will go without Cavill constantly pushing back on the writers. I'm not a "source purist" - I've never even read the books - but I do read reviews and comments from those that are, so if the show goes off the rails I'll be able to see the "REEEEEEEEEE" from the fans.

It's a shame Cavill isn't doing the Witcher anymore, but it's for a worthy cause - Bringing Warhammer 40.000 to the big screen could be absolutely awesome, or in the same vein as with the Witcher, if the script writers are not "source purists" it'll upset the entire fan base...And it won't be too far fetched that the grim darkness of the 41. millennium is too much for the mainstream.

Re: POLL: Should Forum Rule #4 be changed as per Fnagaton's proposal?
I see four total non-regular poster names in the "have read this thread" listing, which isn't enough to change the results if they voted. Poll passes, will update Rule #4 later today.
