So last week, I have a couple friends in town (old roomate and his wife), and they visted for a day. Not bad. Did the Aquarium, went to Tattered Cover Bookstore, Wax Trax Records, and then off to find a Beau Jo's Pizza...
Well, the Beau Jo's is closed, so on our way Brian see's the all-you-can-eat crab at Landy's off I-25...so off we go...

So waiting for our dinner, we start talking about movies...
Beth (his wife): Krona, that was such a good flic. So sad at the end..
Me: Yea, although I thought it had a happy ending...
Beth: What? What do you mean? She got shot and killed at the end...
Me: No she didn't. She didn't die.
Beth: Yes she did. She died, and the last scene we have is her last vision before she dies, when she's in the underworld. Her dream.
Me: No, she didn't die. She went home. She was the Queen remember?
Beth: That's absurd. She died Krona. It was her dying vision.
Me: No, she was the Queen of the Underworld. She had faith in her journey, and was rewarded where she really belonged. No different belief that she really was the Queen all along, rather then a life wasted for nothing.

Moment of silence...
Beth: Yea, that's a totally different view on that. I guess it's how you see it. Both work really.
Me: Yea. You really have no idea from the whole film what is real, and what is not. Is she just living in her dream? Or is she really the Queen? Who knows.

As I sit here at work this evening, I am updating a list (700 work orders) of Dutch people for a financial client.
I have seen so many Van der's, Binkhorst's, Graaf's, Haan's, Meijerink's that I am starting to have visions of the Swedish chef off the fucking Muppets.

Branaman, your new title is 'Branaman: King of the van der Poofies'.

"ALL HAIL BRANAMAN HIGH KING OF THE VAN DER POOFIES!'
