I'm not even sure what direction I should approach this next topic. I don't want to come across as a jerk or stir up controversy or anything, mainly I just want to get some words down so they're out there for me to look at. I regret that I never had a daughter of my own, to raise from birth. Now do not get me wrong, I love my daughter. Although it's different, I love her as much as I love my son. Hell, I've helped raise her from when she was in elementary school ...
I only use two computers for my account access. The second computer is used for basic surfing, but nothing so "dangerous" as going on Facebook or the like. Both have been scanned multiple times with multiple antivirus solutions. ClamWin. Norton. Trend. McAfee. Annoyingly, Kaspersky's online scanner is down at the moment. Nothing has been found. I'm wondering if I should call, in addition to the email, but figure there may not be much point, what with the "watched pot never boils" mentality that this sort of thing probably keeps. ...
Both accounts have now been suspended. "They" - that is the hackers - must have discovered that I'd changed the password, and attempted to get the system to send them an email so they could change it to something usable, because I received an email that said the password reset had been requested. I have sent Blizzard an email via their webform at http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?gameId=11. I'm also changing a LOT of passwords, to email ...
