Logged in briefly tonight to check my petition. Apparently it's already beyond the GM level. And any sort of restoration could take "up to 12 days" according to the message. ... Glee.
My main account was unlocked and reopened on Weds. I logged on long enough to petition - the petition window has about a 1000 character limit. Ugh - I could only get info about 4 of my affected 19 characters in there. Of course I've gotten "customer service survey" emails already, but there's been no further information about retrieval or restoration.
I seem to be in the queue for investigations now.

Got several emails tonight. At 8:32pm I got the "account closure" email for one of my accounts - my main account - the one that had my 80 paladin, 80 mage, and 80 dk on. Very quickly thereafter I received five "paid character transfer failure" messages for both accounts.
